SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Women's Tennis earned its third sweep of the season Wednesday, defeating John Brown University, 7-0.

The Lady Lions (3-1) only dropped one set in doubles play, earning the easy point. Joanna Potet and Petra Csizmadia won 6-0 at number one with Bianca Koen and Milena Achlamov taking the 6-0 win at number two.

Camila Romero and Chloe Ruppanner earned a 6-1 decision at number three.

UAFS had no issues with the Golden Eagles in singles play, with no opponent winning more than two sets.

Romero picked up a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at number six, while Ruppanner and Csizmadia claimed 6-2, 6-0 wins at numbers three and five, respectively.

To complete the match, Koen won 6-1, 6-2 at number one, Potet won 6-2, 6-1 at number two and Achlamov won 6-2, 6-1 at number four.

UAFS will begin Lone Star Conference action March 18 when Cameron University visits the Fort Smith Athletic Club.
