UAFS men's tennis has concluded the day on a perfect note as the Lions defeated John Brown by the score of 7-0 on Thursday afternoon at Fort Smith Athletic Club. The Lions have thus earned their first win of the season and are now 1-4 overall.
The doubles started out with Lions winning all three matches, earning the first point of the day.

On the singles side, UAFS men's won all six matches in a dominant fashion, not allowing their opponents a single set.
Wian Van Dyk started out his team winning the first match by 6-2, 6-1 followed by
Ethan Eddleman winning by 6-1, 6-4.
Daniel Borrero (6-1, 6-0), Nico Retamales (6-1, 6-3),
Zach Delmonico (6-3, 6-2) all followed the trend with
Andrew Anderson concluded the perfect day for the Lions with a 6-3, 6-4 win.
UAFS men's tennis team will be back in action on March 12 as the Lions travel to Lawton, Okla. to take on Cameron. The Lions will be looking to use the momentum from Thursday's matches against John Brown to improve their season record against Cameron.
