The Lions are back at home for their last conference games of the regular season. They will be looking to add two more wins to their record. The Lions are scheduled to play UT-Tyler on Thursday at 7:30 pm and A&M-Commerce on Saturday at 4pm. Both games will be held at the Stubblefield Center. On Saturday, UAFS will also be hosting Senior Night to celebrate the impact that seniors, Brian Halums, Matt Morgan, and Seth Hawley, have had on the UAFS athletics program.

Currently, the Lions are 11-15 overall and 7-13 in conference play. They are hoping to finish the regular season off on a high note with a pair of wins, just in time for Senior Night. Historically, the Lions have matched up well against UT-Tyler. The last time these two teams met up last month, UAFS walked away with the win, 66-49. On the other hand, the last time UAFS played A&M-Commerce, A&M-C managed to pull out the win against the Lions, 75-83, so they are looking to change that past outcome in Saturday's match.

Currently, UAFS is averaging 69.7 points per game, shooting 46.0 percent from the field, 34.1 percent for three-pointers, and 68.6 percent from the free-throw line. Brian Halums currently leads in scoring, averaging 28.9 points per game, and Matthew Wilson (16.7 ppg) follows him. The Lions are also averaging 12.4 assists per game, with Charles Botchway leading them with 4.5 assist per game and Matthew Wilson, with 2.2 assists per game, following behind.

Defensively, the Lions are allowing their opponents to score 70.7 points per game. They are shooting 44.3 percent from the field, 35.3 percent from the three-point line, and 74.5 percent from the free throw line. The Lions are managing to grab 32.3 rebounds per game and force 12.9 turnovers per game, making 14.0 points off those turnovers.
