Sophomore
Samantha Wong capped a perfect week on Saturday with a pair of wins, but that wasn't enough as the UAFS Lady Lions tennis team dropped a nonconference match 6-1 to No. 29 Midwestern State at Wichita Falls, Texas.
Wong and teammate
Bianca Koen beat Bianca Duff and Ashley Ramirez 7-6 at No. 1 doubles, but Midwestern State won the Nos. 2-3 doubles matches to secure the point.
Wong, who also was 2-0 in the Lady Lions' 7-0 win against William Jewell on Tuesday, beat Taylor Gray 6-2, 6-3 at No. 5 singles to score the only point for UAFS.
