Logan Allen went 2-for-4 with a double to lead UAFS on Saturday afternoon in the Lions' 11-1 loss to the Missouri Western State Griffons in the third game of the Henderson State Invitational at Clyde Berry Field in Arkadelphia, Ark.
UAFS (4-2) will play host Henderson State at 3 p.m. on Sunday in the invitational finale at Clyde Berry Field.

Allen accounted for two of the Lions' six hits off Griffons starter Anthony Castanada and had one of the Lions' three doubles. Catcher
Dylan Hurt was 1 for 4 with a double and one RBI, and center fielder
Travis Young was 1 for 4 with a double.
Castanada (1-0) earned the complete-game win, allowing two walks with five strikeouts over seven innings.
Missouri Western State (2-4) collected a combined 12 hits off four UAFS pitchers. Lions starter
Foster Pace (0-1), who was making his second start, suffered the loss, allowing four earned runs on seven hits with one walk and one strikeout over three innings.
Shortstop Dusty Stroup was 3 for 4 with a double and two RBIs, catcher Wyatt Meyer was 3 for 4 with one RBI, center fielder Conrad McMahon was 2 for 3 with one RBI, first baseman Andrew Curry 1 for 3 with a double and two RBIs, left fielder Josh Robinson was 1 for 3 with one RBI and right fielder Casey Danley was 1 for 4 with one RBI.
