UAFS volleyball player Michelle Walker was recognized on Monday by the Heartland Conference for her performance during last week’s matches.

Walker, a senior outside hitter, was named Co-Hitter of the Week.

It was the fourth time for Walker to earn the honor. She had double-digit kills in each of the Lady Lions’ three matches – a four-set loss to Newman and sweeps of East Central and Oklahoma Panhandle State.

She averaged 4.33 kills and compiled a 0.316 hitting percentage.
