Polly tossed eight shutout innings, allowing only two hits and one walk with a season-high 10 strikeouts to earn a 9-3 win in the second game of the Lions' 2-1 series win against the Newman Jets. It was Polly's fourth-consecutive start -- the former reliever has five start total this season -- and now is 4-0 with one no-decision in his five starts.
