Young batted 0.600 with six hits, including two doubles and two home runs, and had seven RBIs. He struck out only once and drew three walks.

His first home run -- a grand slam -- came in Game 2 of the Lions' three-game series against Texas A&M International and his second came in Game 3 as part of the Lions' seven home run performance in a 19-4 run-rule win that secured the series sweep.
