Haynes was named Heartland Conference Women’s Basketball Co-Player of the Week for her performance this past week against St. Edward’s.

Haynes, who is from Guthrie, Okla., scored 24 points and grabbed seven rebounds in leading the Lady Lions to their road win against the Hilltoppers. She was 7-of-11 shooting from the field – 2-of-3 shooting from 3-point range – and was perfect at the free-throw line (8 of 8).

She also dished out a team-high five assists and tied for the team lead with four steals.
