Gibbs shot a 19-over 229 to lead the UAFS women's golf team to a third-place finish in the annual UAFS Hardscrabble Invitational on Tuesday at Hardscrabble Country Club.

UAFS shot a 100-over 940 (316-310-314) during the three-round, seven-team event. St. Mary's, which led after each round, won the event, shooting a 46-over 886 (286-303-297). Rogers State was runner-up, shooting a 73-over 913 (300-311-302).

Gibbs shot rounds of 79-75-75 and finished ninth.
