Black was named Heartland Conference Setter of the Week for her performance in the Lady Lions' wins against Harding, Newman and Texas A&M-Commerece.

Black had 121 assists and averaged 10.08 assists per set last week. She also had 28 digs, averaging 2.33 digs per set. She also had six total blocks – two solo blocks and four assists – and six kills.

It was the first time the Greenwood, Ark., native earned the honor this season.
