Brainard averaged 10 points and five rebounds per game durin the Lady Lions' two games during the NCAA Division II South Central Regon.

The junior forward also averaged 2.5 assists and two steals per game.

No. 5 seed UAFS beat No. 4 seed Colorado Mesa 68-65 in the first round of region play but lost 70-57 to No. 1 seed West Texas A&M in the semifinals of region play.
