Evan Piche’ begins his third season as an assistant coach for the men’s and women’s tennis teams after playing the past four seasons for the Lions.
During his collegiate career, Piche’ advanced to the semifinals of the NJCAA National Tournament in doubles as a sophomore, was named Heartland Conference Player of the Week twice and was Heartland Conference Student-Athlete of the Week.
He was twice named Team MVP and was team captain for three seasons. He currently holds the school record for most wins. He also is a two-time Fort Smith City Championships Doubles Champion.
Piche’ graduated in December with a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership with a minor in business administration.
The Houston, Texas, native is a 2007 graduate of Taylor High School. He played on three state finalist teams and was named Team MVP as a senior. He was ranked in the Top 50 in Texas SuperChamps.
