HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 30 points a game to go along with 11 rebounds in his freshman season for Keystone High School in Houston, Texas, and was coached by his father...Was named second-team all-state as well as bringing home first-team All-District, All-Area, All-Region, and All-Metro honors as a freshman at Keystone...After transferring to Kingwood High School, also in Houston, won a state championship and guided the team to a 37-4 record during his sophomore season... Ended up at Westfield High School (Houston) for his junior and senior years...Averaged 15 points and seven rebounds for the Mustangs his senior campaign...Also led Westfield to a 36-1 record and a No. 2 ranking in the USA Today high school basketball rankings during the 2005-06 season...Was named to first-team All-District, All-Region and All-Metro with the Mustangs...Had a career high with 47 points, including seven three-pointers, vs. Regents his freshman year at Keystone...Was named MVP of the Greater Houston All-Star Game... Participated in the Adidas Superstar camp in 2005... Finished high school with a 3.7 GPA.
