FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Athletics is proud to announce its inaugural 'Together We Roar' fundraiser, set for October 12-16, 2026.

The first of its kind fundraiser will last an entire week in support of UAFS Athletics teams and student-athletes.

Each sport has a specific need they are fundraising for, such as travel, uniforms equipment and facility upgrades. All will help enhance the student-athlete experience as the Lions compete in the premier league of NCAA II in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association.

"The gifts to athletics are an investment in UAFS student-athletes," said UAFS Assistant Vice Chancellor for Athletics, Recreation, Health and Wellness Curtis Janz.  "These are investments in their dreams, their future and their determination to be the best they can in competition, in the community, and the classroom."

Individual team goals include but are not limited to:

·         Volleyball – Travel expenses for a premier preseason tournament in Alaska

·         M/W Cross Country – Mercy Pool passes for training and rehab purposes plus training shoes

·         M/W Golf – A Foresight Sports GC Quad monitor that delivers measurable data such as club speed, ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, etc. to aid in player development.

·         Baseball – Funds for baseball operations and facility upgrades.

·         Men's Basketball – Nutrition program including food, snacks and supplements

·         Women's Basketball – Locker room renovations

·         M/W Tennis – Funds for travel accommodations

·         Cheer – Travel funds for the NCA Championships in Daytona

·         Pom – New uniforms and continuing to upgrade choreography opportunities

This is an opportunity for alumni, fans and the UAFS community to come together and support their favorite teams, with all gifts going directly support each program.
