FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Women's Basketball will embark on its final road trip of the regular season as the Lions visit Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri State.

The Lions will visit Missouri Western at 5:30 p.m. Thursday before taking on Northwest Missouri at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Both games will be streamed on the MIAA Network with live stats available at uafortsmithlions.com.

NOTES:

LAST WEEK: The Lions dropped a pair of road contests at Washburn and Central Missouri.

FROM DISTANCE: UAFS averages 6.0 made threes per game, led by guard Senese Rainey at 1.4 per game. Rainey has made at least three threes in three of her last four games and is shooting 37.8 percent.

4: Guard Haleigh Jackson had four steals in each game last week, tying the single game high also set by Telisha Brown and Jah'Mareah Linville.

AT THE LINE: Jackson went 8-for-9 at the line in the game at Washburn. The eight free throws are the most made by an individual in a game this season.

SCOUTING MW: The Griffons are 9-15, 5-10 MIAA with six of their nine wins at home. Missouri Western is second in the MIAA at 33.0 percent from three and is led by guard Mia Morel at 15.5 points per game.

SCOUTING NW: The Bearcats are 15-10, 8-7 MIAA after having won their last five games. NWMSU is second in the MIAA in scoring defense at 58.4 points per game while being paced offensively by guard Bailey Brimingham at 11.5 points per game.

THE SERIES: UAFS is 1-1 against Missouri Western and 1-0 versus Northwest Missouri. This will be the first trip to both schools for the Lions.
