FORT SMITH, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Women's Basketball returns to the road this week as the Lions are set to visit Missouri Southern and Pittsburg State.
The all-Lion battle will take place at 5:30 p.m. Thursday followed by the Lions visiting the Gorillas at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Both games will be streamed on the MIAA Network with live stats available at uafortsmithlions.com.
NOTES:
LAST WEEK: The Lions went 1-1 at home, defeating Newman before falling to Emporia State.
WHAT CAN BROWN DO FOR YOU: Guard Telisha Brown scored 17 points in both games last week and leads the Lions with 12.6 points per game.

THE FIRST TIME: UAFS defeated Missouri Southern, 73-63, behind a double-double from forward Marie Rose Priscilla Wemba at the beginning of January. Pitt State defeated the Lions, 79-56.
SCOUTING MSSU: The Lions are 13-4, 7-1 MIAA and 5-0 on their home court. The Lions are second in scoring offense at 76.6 points per game led by guard Grace Frazier at 16.3 points per game.
SCOUTING PSU: The Gorillas are 14-3, 7-1 MIAA and are ranked No. 11 in this week's WBCA Top 25. PSU leads the MIAA in rebounding at 43.2 per game and has a trio of players averaging more than 12 points per game.
THE SERIES: UAFS is 2-3 all-time against Missouri Southern and 3-7 versus Pitt State.
