Baseball swept in series by Central Missouri

FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Baseball was swept in its series against No. 4 Central Missouri, as the Mules topped the Lions, 14-4, in seven innings in the series finale at Crowder Field Sunday.

UCM scored in all seven innings, with the Lions putting four runs on the board in the final frame.

Infielder Nico Patrick drove in a pair on a single before scoring on a double by outfielder Cooper White. The Lions tallied their final run by scoring on a UCM error.

Patrick had two of the Lions' four hits on the afternoon.

Up next for the Lions is a trip to Missouri Southern March 14-16.
