FORT SMITH, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Men's Tennis swept visiting Quincy Tuesday, defeating the Hawks, 7-0, at The Hangout.
The Lions swept the three doubles matches for the doubles point, starting with a 6-0 win at No. 3 by Killian Darneaux and Kevin Praphan. Juan Rosello and Anis Ramchane teamed up at No. 1 and Eduardo Bribiesca paired with Rodrigo Hoppe at No. 2 as each won, 6-3.
Darneaux carried his doubles sweep to singles play with a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 5 followed by Bribiesca winning 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1. The Lions clinched the match with a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 2 by Rosello.
Ramchane tallied a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 3 before Hoppe and Praphan closed out the matches with 7-6, 6-4, and 6-2, 3-6, 10-8 wins at Nos. 5 & 6, respectively.
UAFS continues its homestand Wednesday against Sterling College at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
