KEARNEY, Neb. – Guard Anna Trusty recorded her second consecutive double-double but it wasn't enough as University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Women's Basketball dropped a 75-52 decision at Nebraska-Kearney Thursday. 
Trusty finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Lions in both categories. 
UNK started the game on a 9-0 run and the Lions were never able to recover. UAFS finished shooting just 27.3 percent from the field while the Lopers finished at 48.4 percent.
Guard Dajah Smith added 13 points for the Lions, while guard Morgan Browning added 11. Forward Layne Kirkendoll pulled down 11 rebounds. 
UAFS next visits No. 8 Fort Hays State at 2 p.m. Saturday.
