FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Men's Basketball led wire-to-wire in an 84-48 win over Ecclesia Friday night at Northside High School.

Guard Christian Moore opened the scoring with a three and after a bucket by the Royals, UAFS went on a 17-0 run over four minutes to lead, 20-3. The Lions led by as many as 24 in the opening half before leading 41-19 at the break.

UAFS extended the lead to 36 midway through the second half at 71-35 before closing the game out for the final margin.

The Lions had 12 steals, leading to 25 points off turnovers and 23 fast break points.

Three Lions scored in double figures, led by guard Brandon Scott and forward Kameron Johnson with 13 points each. Johnson finished with a double-double with 10 rebounds. Guard Jarren McAllister added 13 points and five assists with a pair of breakaway dunks while Moore tallied nine points.

UAFS finished at 43.8 percent shooting while holding the Royals to 32.2 percent.

Next up for the Lions is a trip to San Antonio for the River City Classic Tuesday and Wednesday, where they will face Midwestern State and UT Permian Basin.
