FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Women's Basketball will travel to Arkansas Tech tonight for a matchup with the Golden Suns before hosting the Hampton Inn Classic this weekend.
Tonight's game at Arkansas Tech tips at 5:30 p.m. with the game being streamed on the ATU YouTube page.
UAFS will then welcome Missouri Southern, Southwest Baptist and Texas A&M International to the Stubblefield Center Saturday and Sunday for the Hampton Inn Classic. MSSU and SBU will open the action at 3 p.m. Saturday followed by the Lions against the Dustdevils. Sunday's action gets underway at 1 p.m. with MSSU versus TAMIU with the Lions taking on SBU at 3 p.m.
All four games this weekend will be streamed on the MIAA Network, with Saturday's games broadcast on KFPW-AM 1230 and Sunday's games on Fox Sports Radio 103.5.

LAST WEEK: The Lions opened the season 1-1 at the MIAA/GAC Challenge, falling to Southern Arkansas before defeating UA-Monticello.
HOME OPENER: UAFS is 10-5 in home openers in the NCAA II era.
SECOND CHANCES: The Lions pulled down 35 offensive rebounds and rank second in the MIAA at 17.5 per game after opening weekend. They turned those rebounds into 35 second-chance points.
GIMME THAT: UAFS is second in the league with 14.5 steals per game and force 20.0 turnovers per game.
RECORD WATCH: NCAA II era scoring leader Hannah Boyett is at 904 career points as she chases 1,000. Forward Sinetra Jones ranks 10th with 42 blocks.
SCOUTING ATU: Tonight's game will serve as the season opener for the Golden Suns, who went 14-13 a season ago. ATU lost their top four scorers from last season, with guard Hayleigh Wyrick the leading returner at 8.3 points per game.
SCOUTING TAMIU: The Dustdevils are 0-3 to start the season under first-year head coach Jaida Williams. Guards Janiya Murphy and Taylor Jacobson lead the Dustdevils with 11.0 and 10.7 points per game, respectively.
SCOUTING SBU: The Bearcats are 0-1 after a close loss to No. 15 Ferris State last week. Four players scored in double figures, led by guards Odett Schlegl and Kristin Edmonds with 16 points each.
THE SERIES: The Lions are 0-1 against Arkansas Tech with the lone meeting coming at the Stubblefield Center last season. UAFS is 19-7 against Texas A&M International and 1-0 against Southwest Baptist.
