FORT SMITH, Ark. – After defeating No. 10 Central Oklahoma in four sets on the road Wednesday, University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Volleyball was unable to complete the season sweep of the Bronchos Saturday, as the Lions fell, 20-25, 20-25, 11-25 at the Stubblefield Center.
UAFS tallied just four blocks Saturday as the Bronchos hit .304 and the Lions .111.
Outside hitter Caelyn Gunn led the Lions with 11 kills, while outside hitter Nyia Anderson and right-side hitter Morgan Creer each added seven.
Setter Trinity Funderburk tallied a double-double with 12 assists and 12 digs, while setter Scarlette Young had 15 assists. Libero Taylor Damme had a team-high 15 digs.
The Lions remain at home next weekend as they take on Missouri Southern November 1 at 6 p.m. at the Stubblefield Center.
