FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Men's Tennis concluded its nonconference schedule Tuesday with a 4-1 defeat to Ouachita Baptist at the Fort Smith Athletic Club.
Eduardo Bribiesca and Juan Rosello claimed a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles, but the Tigers won the doubles point by winning at Nos. 1 and 3.
Juan Patino picked up the lone point for the Lions, taking a 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles. Nicolas Retamales went three sets but was defeated at No. 6 while Bribiesca and Rosello were each in the third set of their singles matches when the outcome had been decided.
UAFS hosts St. Mary's Friday at 1 p.m. in its home finale.
