FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Men's Tennis picked up its second consecutive win Tuesday, defeating Southeastern Oklahoma State, 6-1, at the Fort Smith Athletic Club.
The Lions earned the doubles point by winning at Nos. 1 and 3, and then won five singles matches – four in straight sets.
Anis Ramchane gave UAFS a 2-0 lead with a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles, and Eduardo Bribiesca made it 3-0 with a 6-3, 7-5 victory at No. 3. Juan Rosello sealed the win with a 7-5, 6-4 win at No. 2.
Also picking up singles wins for the Lions were Juan Patino and Nicolas Retamales at Nos. 5 and 6, respectively.
UAFS goes for three in a row Thursday at 2 p.m. against Southern Arkansas at the Fort Smith Athletic Club.
