FORT SMITH, Ark. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Men's Tennis picked up its second Lone Star Conference win Friday by blanking Dallas Baptist, 4-0, at the Fort Smith Athletic Club.

The Lions swept their way through doubles, with Anis Ramchane and Killian Darneaux winning 6-3 at No. 1 and Juan Patino and Nicolas Retamales taking the 6-4 win at No. 3. Eduardo Bribiesca and Juan Rosello led 5-3 when the doubles point had been decided.

Ramchane then made quick work at No. 1 singles, winning 6-2, 6-2 before the Lions went up 3-0 when Retamales won via retirement at No. 6. Retamales had won set one, 6-1, and was leading 2-0 in set two at the time.

The match was then clinched when Darneaux tallied a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 4.

A day prior, the Lions went down to the wire with visiting Southern Arkansas. UAFS claimed the doubles point, but the Muleriders took four singles matches for a 4-3 defeat of the Lions.

Rosello and Patino claimed the singles' wins for the Lions.

UAFS wraps up a four-match homestand Saturday at 1 p.m. against No. 8 UT Tyler.
