TULSA, Okla. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Women's Tennis took a break from Lone Star Conference action Tuesday, visiting Oral Roberts. The Golden Eagles defeated the Lions, 5-2, in nonconference action at LaFortune Park Tennis Center.
Joanna Potet and Sofia Tominaga each picked up singles wins for the Lions at Nos. 1 & 5, respectively.
Potet battled back after a first set loss to win 2-6, 7-7, 10-8 while Tominaga won in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4.
The Lions will have over a week off before resuming conference action March 23 at Western New Mexico.
