FORT SMITH, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Men's Tennis concluded the home portion of its schedule with a 5-2 win Saturday over UT Permian Basin at the Fort Smith Athletic Club.
The Lions started out strong by sweeping doubles action for a 1-0 lead, with Anis Ramchane and Killian Darneaux earning a 6-0 win at number three.
Wian Van Dyk and Ethan Eddleman claimed a 6-4 win at number one while Daniel Borrero and Nicolas Retamales teamed for a 6-3 win at number two.
In singles action, Ramchane dominated at number three with a 6-1, 6-1 victory. Rosello went the distance yet again, this time picking up a 6-2, 5-7, 7-5 win at number four.
Retamales and Eddleman closed with wins at numbers five and six, respectively. Retamales won 6-3, 6-1 and Eddleman won 6-2, 6-3.
UAFS concludes the regular season April 21 at Cameron.
