FORT SMITH, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Men's Tennis bounced back from its first loss by sweeping University of the Ozarks Tuesday, 7-0, at the Fort Smith Athletic Club.
Wian Van Dyk and Ethan Eddleman had a close set at number one doubles, but came away with the 7-5 win. Daniel Borrero and Juan Rosello teamed up at number two while Anis Ramchane and Killian Darneaux paired at number three to each post 6-2 wins, respectively.
Borrero then won his first set, 6-0, at number one singles before closing out his match with a 6-4 win. Ramchane claimed a 6-1, 6-1 victory at number two, while Rosello did the same at number three.
Nicolas Retamales and Darneaux each earned 6-2, 6-2 wins at numbers four and six, respectively, while Eddleman won 6-0, 6-3 at number five.
The Lions will next face NCAA I foe Oral Roberts March 8 at 2 p.m. in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
