FORT SMITH, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Women's Basketball will continue its season opening road trip this week, visiting both Southern Nazarene University and Henderson State University.
The Lions will travel to SNU Wednesday for a 5:30 p.m. tip and then head to HSU for a 2 p.m. start Saturday as part of a men's and women's doubleheader.

NOTES:
LAST WEEK: The Lions were defeated in a pair of games at Westminster College to tip off 2022-23.
OVERTIME: Friday's game was the second time UAFS has gone to overtime in the season opener. The first was a 63-57 win over Pittsburg State to open the 2010-11 season.
SECOND CHANCES: UAFS averaged 14.0 offensive rebounds per game in its two games at Westminster.
BEYOND THE ARC: The Lions are averaging 8.0 made threes per game, second most in the LSC after one weekend.
RECORD WATCH: Guard Hannah Boyett is tied for third all-time with 102 made threes.
SCOUTING SNU: The Crimson Storm stared the season 0-2, including a two-point loss to No. 3 Fort Hays State. Guard Georgia Adams leads the team with 13.0 points per game as the Storm shot just 34.3 percent in the two losses.
SCOUTING HSU: The Reddies dropped both of their opening week games and are also 0-2 to begin the year. Guard Ashley Farrar averaged 17.0 points in the two games while guard Abbie Jiles averaged 14.5 points and 5.5 rebounds.
THE SERIES: This will be the first ever meeting between the Lions and Crimson Storm. UAFS is 5-3 all-time against HSU.
