CLARKSVILLE, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Women's Tennis opened its season with another sweep of an NCAA III opponent, defeating University of the Ozarks, 9-0, Thursday afternoon.
UAFS wasted no time in doubles, winning all three matches 8-1 for an early 3-0 lead.
The momentum carried over into singles play, as Bianca Koen, Joanna Potet and Petra Csizmadia all earned 6-0, 6-0 victories. Chloe Ruppanner and Camila Romero each won 6-2, 6-0, while Milena Achlamov completed the sweep with a 6-0, 6-2 win.
The Lady Lions have now won all four matches against the Eagles.
Next up for UAFS is a neutral site matchup against Christian Brothers University March 3 in Little Rock. First serve is 11 a.m.
