FORT SMITH, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Women's Basketball has only played one game since January 3, but will return to action this week versus Oklahoma Christian University Thursday and Saturday.
The Lady Lions will host the Eagles at the Stubblefield Center at 5:30 p.m. for Thursday's contest, and make the trip to Oklahoma City for a 1 p.m. tip Saturday.
Both games will be streamed on the Lone Star Conference Digital Network and can be seen with a daily pass for $10. General admission tickets are available for Thursday's game at the UAFS Box Office, while Oklahoma Christian is pass list only admission. LAST WEEK: UAFS had its series with Cameron postponed due to COVID-19 protocols. No makeup dates have been announced yet.
LAST TIME OUT: The Lady Lions battled to the end at No. 19 Texas A&M-Commerce, but couldn't pull off the upset bid, falling 76-70.
HOME SWEET HOME: Thursday's game marks the first time UAFS will have played at home since December 20. UAFS has played five of seven games on the road this season.

RECORD WATCH: Sophomore guard Hannah Boyett is 5th all-time with 95 career made threes. Her 78 made threes in 2019-20 are the most in a single season in program history.
TAKE THAT BALL AWAY: The Lady Lions are second in the LSC in turnover margin, with a plus-4.7 margin per game. UAFS forces 21.6 turnovers per game, with senior guard Paige Elston is fourth in the LSC with 2.9 steals per game.
SCOUTING OKLAHOMA CHRISTIAN: The Eagles are 3-3, 3-3 LSC after dropping their last contest to Texas Woman's University. Three players average double figures, led by freshman guard Brooklin Bain's 13.2 points per game. Bain also leads the Eagles in rebounding at 7.5 per game.
THE SERIES: The Lady Lions lead the all-time series, 12-5, with the first meeting in 2013. UAFS has won six of the last seven matchups, with the teams splitting the two games in 2019-20. The Lady Lions won the second of those games, 91-89, in Fort Smith in overtime.
