UAFS baseball team has started the 2020 season in a dominant fashion sweeping Texas A&M International on the road and concluding the final game with a 10-run rule. The Lions will be looking to use this momentum to extend their winning streak against a UT Tyler team that has started their season off in a similar fashion against Tarleton State.
The series will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday, continue with another nine-inning game at 1 p.m. on Saturday and conclude with a nine-inning game on Sunday. Live stats and live video broadcast will be available.
UAFS is currently tied for the first place in Lone Star Conference standings along with Angelo State, St. Mary's, Texas A&M-Kingsville and UT Tyler who all have perfect records (3-0) after the first weekend. The Lions will be looking to break the tie with the Patriots.

Logan Easley so far leads the team in doubles (4) and RBIs (7) while four players have scored four runs including

The Lions pitching staff has compiled 3.12 ERA as a team with 13 strikeouts and nine walks.
