FORT SMITH, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Women's Basketball will open 2021 at UT Permian Basin January 2-3 as the Lady Lions seek their first win of the 2020-21 campaign.

LAST WEEK: UAFS dropped a pair of close contests against No. 19 West Texas A&M at the Stubblefield Center before the winter break. The Lady Lions fell 60-57 in the opener and 63-49 in game two.
4: The Lady Lions are the only team in the conference to have played all four games in the first two weeks of the season.
16.5: Senior center Mar'Shalia Lollie averaged 16.5 points in the two matchups vs WTAMU. She also averaged 7.0 rebounds after securing an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double in game two against the Lady Buffs.
21: The Lady Lions forced 21 turnovers in each game against the Lady Buffs. The defense forces 23.3 turnovers per game, 5th best in the league. UAFS also has a +7.0 turnover margin.
RECORD WATCH: Sophomore guard Hannah Boyett is 5th all-time with 83 career made threes.
SCOUTING UTPB: The Falcons won the only game they played this season in a nonconference matchup against LSC foe Western New Mexico. Their first two conference weekends against UT Tyler and Cameron were postponed. In that game, sophomore guard Rory Carter led the team with 13 points.
THE SERIES: The Lady Lions lead the all-time series, 12-5. UAFS has won the last eight matchups, including 73-63 in Odessa last season.
