UAFS women's basketball improves to 5-7 on the season as the Lady Lions defeated St. Mary's by the score of 57-52. UAFS was led by
Hannah Boyett with 19 points and
Mar'Shalia Lollie with a double-double (16 points and 10 rebounds). The Lady Lions are now 2-4 in conference play. and have taken the lead in all-time series against the Rattlers.
Offensively, the Lady Lions shot 33.3 percent from the field, 31.6 percent from the three points line and 76 percent from the free throw line.
Hannah Boyett led the Lady Lions in scoring (16 pts.) while shooting 5-12 from beyond the arc. Lollie also scored 16 points while Dachellle Terry added seven points. The Lady Lions passed the ball well with 19 assists, led by
Alexsis Brown (5 assists).
On the other side of the ball, UAFS held their opponents to 29.6 percent shooting from the field, 0 percent from the three point line and 66.7 percent from the charity line. The Lady Lions grabbed 38 rebounds, led by Lollie (10 rebounds) while
