The University of Arkansas Fort Smith Lady Lions have lost their non-conference match to Southern Nazarene University Crimson Storm. The Lady Lions have started out well, winning the first set by 25-16, but then lost three straight sets 25-18, 25-22, 25-22. As this was a non-conference match, the Lady Lions (10-3, 4-0) will resume their conference competition undefeated.
Offensivelly, the Lady Lions were led by

Anna Demmer (12 kills) and
Rachel Williams (10 kills).
Amanda Van Wyk led the Lady Lions with 36 assists. Overall the Lady Lions hit a 0.203 attacking percentage while defensively the Lady Lions allowed a similar 0.204 attacking percentage. The Lady Lions did not serve particularly well with 10 serving errors.Â
The UAFS Lady Lions will continue their season on October 4, in Dallas, TX where they will match up against their Lone Star Conference rivals Dallas Baptist University.Â
