Dallas, Texas - The University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Lady Lions swept Dallas Baptist Patriots in their Friday night matchup. The Lady Lions swept DBU in three sets by scores of 25-23, 25-22, 25-14. With the win, UAFS (11-3, 5-0) remains atop the LSC.
Offensively, the Lady Lions were led by
Anna Demmer (13 kills ), while
Courtney Crownover and
Rachel Williams both recorded 9 kills which helped UAFS to a .202 hitting percentage.
Amanda Van Wyk recorded 33 assists which helped the Lady Lions to team-total 42 kills. Defensivelly, the Lady Lions held DBU to .106 hitting percentage and 36 kills with 22 attack errors.
The Lady Lions are now 19-1 in all-time series against DBU.
