The UAFS women's tennis team finished their season on Wednesday afternoon with an impressive 7-0 nonconference win against the University of the Ozarks Eagles at Fort Smith Athletic Club.
It was Senior Day for UAFS, and the Lady Lions honored their lone senior,
Majella Nobile, during a pre-match ceremony. Anderson, who is from Townsville, Australia, played only one season at UAFS after transferring from Campbellsville University.
Nobile posted a 6-9 win-loss record in doubles play and a 6-8 win-loss record in singles play this season.
UAFS (7-9) took an early 1-0 lead after sweeping all three doubles matches.

Samantha Wong beat Alexis Rogers and Alexandria Corona 6-0 at No. 1 doubles, Shaun Willliams and Nobile beat Karlee Hart and Kaitlin Gutierrez 6-3 at No. 2 doubles and
Joanna Potet and
Chloe Ruppanner beat Abrian Johnson and Tori Woods 6-1 at No. 3 doubles.
The Lady Lions won all six singles matches in straight sets.
It was the final match of the season for the Lady Lions, who failed to qualify for the Heartland Conference Tournament.
