The final week of the regular season got off to a tough start for the UAFS women's tennis team on Tuesday as the Lady Lions dropped a hard-fought 5-2 nonconference loss to the Harding Bison at Searcy, Ark.
It was the first of two final regular season matches for the Lions (6-9), who will play the University of the Ozarks at 2 p.m. on Wednesday on Senior Day at Fort Smith Athletic Club. The Lions will honor their lone senior,
Majella Nobile.

Samantha Wong rallied from a first-set loss to beat Linda Carpenter in a three-set thriller 3-6, 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4 singles, and
Chloe Ruppanner beat Allison Jenkins in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 at No. 6 singles.
