The UAFS women's tennis team won its second match in a row on Monday afternoon, shutting out the John Brown Lady Eagles 7-0 in a nonconference match at Fort Smith Athletic Club.
It was the fourth match of a five-match home stand for the Lady Lions (4-4), who were coming off a 5-2 win against Missouri Western on March 2 at Fort Smith Athletic Club. UAFS will finish its home stand at 2 p.m. on Thursday when it hosts Newman in a Heartland Conference match at Fort Smith Athletic Club.
UAFS led 1-0 after the doubles matches.

Koen beat McNeill 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Nobile beat Smith 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles, Potet beat Paiz 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles, Williams beat Engel 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles, Wong beat Sandeno 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 singles and Ruppanner beat Trusty 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6 singles.
