UAFS Women's Basketball team has lost second game in a row as the Lady Lions fell to NSU RiverHawks by the score of 75 - 57 at NSU Event Center in Tahlequah, Okla. The Lady Lions are now 2-2 overall on the season going into the first home, conference game against Texas A&M International.
Offensively, the Lady Lions were led by
Mar'Shalia Lollie with 13 and
Paige Elston with 12 ponits.
Leiloni Culley added another eight points to the Lady Lions' offense. Elston also led the UAFS Women's basketball team with nine assists. As a team, UAFS shot a very high 41.3 percent from the field, 20 percent from the three point line and only 50 percent from the free throw line.
Defensivelly, the Lady Lions allowed RiveHawks an overall 46.8 shooting percentage from the field, 50 percent from the three point line and 79.3 percent from the free throw line. Lollieand
Tamera Gulley led the Lady Lions with nine rebounds apiece, while Lollie, Gulley and Culley all added 2 steals respectivelly.
