UAFS Volleyball team's offensive dynamic duo of senior outside hitter

Rachel Williams combined for 34 kills and 37 points total, but that was not enough to power the Lady Lions past Oklahoma Baptist. The Lady Lions fell to the Lady Bison after a five-set long battle at the Stubblefield Center by the score of 25-18, 20-25, 25-16, 21-25, 13-15.
With this win, the Lady Bison cut the Lady Lions' all-time series lead to 5-4
In a back-and-forth affair, the Lady Lions led by 1:0 and 2:1 in sets, but the Lady Bison managed to fight back on both occasions and eventually win the match in the fifth set. Ofensivelly, the Lady Lions were led by
Rachel Williams with 18 kills, followed by
Anna Demmer with 16 kills.
Lexie Johnston and
Courtney Crownover each had 11 kills. As a team, UAFS recorded a .238 hitting percentage with 68 kills and 22 errors on 193 attempts.
Amanda Van Wyk recorded 45 assists to go along with 15 points.
Defensively, the Lady Lions performed well - holding the Lady Bison to a .177 hitting percentage with 54 kills and 22 errors on 181 attempts.
Lexy Lewis recorded 22 digs followed by
Amanda Van Wyk with 21.
