Young batted 0.308 with two doubles, one home run and four RBIs during the Lions' three-game stint in the Heartland Conference Tournament that included a 4-0 loss to eventual champion Rogers State, a 5-3 win over regular-season champion and No. 19-ranked Lubbock Christian and a 10-7 loss in 11 innings to eventural runner-up St. Edward's.
