Sophomore libero Emily Tripp was named Heartland Conference Libero of the Week.

It was the third time for Tripp to earn the honor. Tripp, who is from Shawnee, Kan., had 29 digs during the win against the Hilltoppers and averaged two assists per set.

UAFS (12-3, 6-0) will return to conference play at 7 p.m. on Thursday when it hosts St. Mary’s at the Stubblefield Center. It will be the first match of a three-match homestand for the Lady Lions, who host Texas A&M International at noon on Saturday and Newman at 7 p.m. on Oct. 7.
