Redshirt sophomore Kandace Young led the UAFS Lady Lions cross country team for the fourth time in as many meets, finishing 15th overall with a time of 18:41.6 on Saturday in the Little Rock Invitational 5k, which was hosted by the University of Little Rock at Rebsamen Golf Course in Little Rock.

UAFS  finished its regular-season on Saturday with an impressive 10th-place finish.

UAFS was one of 19 teams in the meet, which included six NCAA Division I teams. NCAA Division I Georgia State placed three runners in the Top 10 to win the meet over runner-up NCAA Division I Central Arkansas, which placed two runners in the Top 10.
