Junior guard DaVaunta Thomas has proven to be the spark the Lions have needed off the bench in recent weeks, and this past week was no different.

Thomas averaged 18 points, seven rebounds, 2.5 assists, one blocked shot and 1.5 steals per game in leading the Lions to wins against Dallas Baptist and Lubock Christian. Thomas shot 59 percent from the field, 57 percent from 3-point range and 75 percent from the free-throw line.
