UAFS junior guard Seth Youngblood has a reputation for being one of the most prolific scorers in Lions' history. Now, he has the record to prove it.

Youngblood scored 18 points during the Lions’ 87-79 win against St. Mary’s on Friday in the first round of the Heartland Conference Men's Basketball Tournament to become the Lions' all-time career scoring leader with 1,361 points.

The Roland, Okla., native needed only 86 games to become the school's all-time scoring leader. He surpassed former Lions career scoring leader Jake Toupal, who scored 1,360 points over a 108-game span.

Youngblood has since added to his total and will enter Saturday’s first round game of the NCAA Division II South Central Region Tournament with 1,392 career points.
Youngblood is averaging 15.8 points per game over his illustrious career that includes a single-game school record 48 points, which he scored in a triple-overtime loss to defending national champion Central Missouri on Nov. 29, 2014.
