Thomas was named the Heartland Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for hsi performance last week against Oklahoma Panhandle State and Lubbock Christian. 
The sophomore guard averaged 22 points, six rebounds, four assists and one steal per game during the Lions' two-game homestand, leading UAFS to wins against OPSU and Lubbock Christian. 
Thomas shot 41 percent from the field and 33 percent from 3-point range and hit 91 percent from the free-throw line.
