Lions sophomore Jesus Galindo posted a 25th place finish in the University of Central Oklahoma Land Run held at Edmond's Santa Fe High School on Saturday. He covered the 6k course in a time of 21:38.60 in leading the Lions to an eighth place finish.

It was the season opener for the Lions.
