Katie Beineke

Katie Beineke is the Senior Associate Athletic Director and Title IX Deputy Coordinator for Athletics, overseeing the internal and external operations of the athletics department and ensuring equity in athletics.

She developed the UAFS Women's Leadership Program after graduating from the 2019 NCAA Leadership Development program. Additionally, Beineke serves on the UAFS Staff Senate as chair of the professional development committee creating programming opportunities for staff members. She also serves as an athletic representative on institutional committees, is a member of Women Leaders in College Sports and serves as a mentor at Kimmons Junior High in Fort Smith.

Beineke, a native of Jonesboro, Ark., is a 2010 graduate of Lyon College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in human resource management and a minor in physical education. She later earned her master's degree in sports administration from Arkansas State in 2011.

Beineke played volleyball for Lyon College and was named an AVCA NAIA All-American and AVCA All-Southeast Region. She earned First Team All-Conference and scholar athlete honors.

After graduating from Lyon College, she served as a graduate assistant for the physical education department at Arkansas State University.

Prior to joining the UAFS staff, Beineke worked in athletic administration as well as assistant volleyball coach at Lyon College for three seasons.

Beineke is an advocate for women's health and is heavily involved with the River Valley Ovarian Cancer Alliance in Fort Smith.
